Short & Sweet

Well last weekend our Saturday consisted of: Waking up, shoveling snow, eating breakfast and then deciding that we are young, and fairly adventurous and that Jackson Hole is really not that far away! So we headed to Jackson about 1 o'clock and arrived after taking Kenny's "scenic route" around 5 for some good food, good relaxing, and some funny memories at the Antler Inn- p.s. don't ever let sweet older ladies convince you that the 'best deal in town' is something compared to your bed at home- IT'S A LIE :)

But it was a fun getaway and I love how we are able to take advantage of the bit of freedom we have!
In case you're wondering why we look ghostly, it's because we drove through a tsunami snow storm the whole way and I wanted to get at least one picture together to document our excursion
Unfortunately the above picture was the highlight of the trip for Kenny, poor guy thought he had died and gone to his kind of heaven finding the elk refuge that we discovered on the way there!
We heart Jackson!

Had a Holly Jolly Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS LOVE THE MCFARLANDS!
thanks Layne and Laura for taking us to get our tree and keeping that fun family tradition
During the day on Christmas Eve we were able to get together with all of Kenny's family. It was such a good time playing in the snow with all of the nieces and nephews! This is Kenny and Tommy playing around like they are younger again. Tom would pull kenny on the board and then take him over the jumps they built in the field back when they were in high school!

Kenny suprised me with building me a wooden hutch, FROM SCRATCH! He found a picture of one he liked and just figured things out as he went, and it's beautiful! Thanks babe, you're always so thoughful, and you spoil me way too much! Love you.

This is Christmas morning opening gifts at Mum and Bud's house, last night, Christmas Eve we spent eating too much good food and playing games!

Here's my dad's new calendar, nice present sister! This is on Christmas day, we went down to Salt Lake to spend the day with dad's side of the family. After opening presents at our house we went over to my Uncle's and opened presents with the cousins, then got to eat an amazing meal, and the whole family went to see Sherlock Holmes.

No Christmas is complete without the grown-ups wearing footsies from Santa!
