Happenings*

This past month has been pretty eventful for us, we've been really blessed to do all that we have. And the best part of this past month was that we found out we're having a healthy, baby...
{GIRL!}
We are so excited! Kenny guessed right all along! The doctor said we're right on track for our October arrival :)
Our other exciting events were being able to go with part of our family to Nauvoo and tour the church sites. I've always been passionate about church history since living in Palmyra, but it was so great to go with all of these church history buffs so I could learn so much more.
Here's the part of our group at the temple grounds- Thanks Layne & Laura for such a great trip!
On one of the days we took a carriage and then a wagon ride around the city. It was fun hearing the Saints' stories from the older missionary couples.
Here's the riverside bungalow we stayed at and our lovely rentals, I was told to be in pictures more instead of just taking them so if you are bored reading blogs late at night you can play 'I spy' with this picture and see if you can see me. And I'm not the cute girl in the pink, that's my sweet sister-in-law Sarah.
This picture is at Adam-Ondi-Ahmand, which was beautiful and so neat to go to to understand all of the neat things that are part of this sacred place. The reason Kenny and I are holding a package of Lillies is because we've made a tradition of planting a tree on our Anniversary and this year we were in Nauvoo during that. So instead of taking a tree around in the van with us, we decided that flowers were a close second and so we planted some by the trail, so we can remember year #2- I'll love this boy forever

Adam-Ondi-Ahmand
Liberty Jail- which was a million times neater because Kaleb Baldwin was in the jail with the prophet and he's an ancestor in Kenny's family.
During the past couple of months, Kenny has been playing horse whisperer with his dad's horses and the nieces and nephews love him to take them around. This is Kylee and Cody riding Fanny.
Now do you understand why I love getting together with all the family when the grandkids are there- We really have the cutest nieces and nephews :)
Our Second Year Anniversary
Yup, forgot to eat the top layer of our wedding cake the first year around, so we thought, might as well. And it actually tasted better than I remembered it tasting when we were married.
