This past weekend we celebrated the graduation of both my aunt and my mom---Congrats! After sitting through 4 hours of ceremonies, and climbing 134 stairs to leave the building I was worn out! But I'm way proud of both of them--- I dedicate this post to reminding the people behind the lovely graduation 'smocks', that for all the work that graduates do, these pieces of apparel sure don't accent them or make them look professional... and for my mom, who is real pregnant, let's just say she could've hidden our whole family under the 'smock' she was wearing! So work on that before I get to graduating or you're going to have to answer to ME!

Getting Warmer...
Warmer weather= prettier outside= weddings, so the first part of this
post is dedicated to the awesome Persian wedding we went to earlier this
spring. It was fun because they had this amazing, ballet dancing,
little girl perform and because I am almost her age I figured that
everyone wanted to see my moves, so I tried to steal her thunder like 3
times by just getting on the stage without having mom see. These
next pictures were with my Baba and my aunt Marzie dancing the night away!
The warmer weather definitely called for a trip to the zoo, with McKoy and Niki. Mom and Niki think we're laughing because we're just toddlers sitting on an elephant statue, but actually when McKoy snuck his hand on my waste for the picture it surprised me and I totally got nervous!
WE GOT TO GO PLAY IN MOAB!! Really this trip was one of the funnest ones we've had. We went with some of our McFarland family and we were busy the ENTIRE time hiking, riding 4-wheelers, the side-by-side, and I got to eat a TON of red dirt!
Look how safe even the kiddos were, this is Owie (Owen), my cousin who takes appreciation in the littlest water holes like I do!
So this year's Easter wasn't my first Easter, but it was the first one that I actually got a new outfit from my Grammy and my mom, my aunt Marzie, and Grammy attempted to take me to an Easter Egg Hunt. The lame thing that my mom didn't realize is that when they say that they begin at 9 AM, they mean that if you are running late and you get there at 9:05 AM, you won't see anyone still looking for eggs. Man, was it embarrassing watching my mom not let it go and walking up the river bank at the park to find me 'Just 1 stinkin' egg!'
Then to make things a million times better, daddy surprised me (and mom) with an Easter gift!
Yup! TWO BABY 'GUCKS'!
Daddy is always thinking of the best surprises to get me so thanks daddy! I really liked playing with these for the week and a half that they lasted, unfortunately I guess that they had to go see their friends down the canal (or that's what mom says), and they'll probably come back and see us when they are bigger and flying past :)
We ended the day with another Easter Egg Picnic with the Wade family. Since I didn't get a chance to hunt earlier my mom hid some eggs for me and I just followed her and Grammy around as she picked them all up for me! This Easter Egg Hunt business is a breeze!
My Grandma Mac planned out this family history series of family home evening days, where we all get together and learn about our ancestors. So just barely we all met in Salt Lake and filled up balloons with family goals and family/individual improvements that we wanted in our lives and hiked up Ensign Peak to release them off of. Then afterwards we went to the This is the Place Monument to learn about all the family names of ancestors that came into the Salt Lake Valley. The coolest part though, was being able to then go to the Salt Lake City Cemetery and find the grave of one of our ancestors, Caleb Baldwin, who knew the prophet Joseph Smith Jr. really well and spent time in the Liberty Jail with him. Uncle Matt and Aunt Sarah told us his and his wife's stories during the lil' devotional we had there. Thanks grandma for planning such neat family outings!
Doesn't this picture look like daddy is thinking about something really deep?
So since my Papa is an AMAZING craftsman my mom asked him if he would
build me a 'big girl' bed, I love it already, you see it comes with an
automatic trampoline that I've already tested out!
Papa is really good about kissing my 'ouies' better, even if they are in my head.
This is the best picture out of them all because my mom finally hustled to take the picture when we were saying cheese. Thank-you so so much Papa for making me a bed before I get booted out of my crib for good with this new baby on the way!
